Rangers will be cracking on with their summer transfer business now and it looks as though there is going to be a hive of activity at Ibrox in the coming months.

Steven Gerrard can be fairly happy with the work done this season but he knows next year is the one where we need to challenge and win a trophy.

Additions are needed, but the chase for George Edmundson is going to be tough with the Daily Mail reporting that Oldham have rejected our bid for him.

It’s a blow for the Gers, then, but the report has revealed what the club needs to do and what Oldham are looking for to get the deal done.

Indeed, it’s thought that the Latics are looking for over £450,000 for the full-back and if Rangers can stump that up they’ll be able to get him probably.

He’s a good young player that could excel for us so let’s see if we go again for him.

  • We must pay a bit extra immediately if it means getting the player. We should not waste any time doing this, as it gives other teams time to raise their bids as well–and then we could lose out. (seen it all in previous years)
