Rangers have been training as normal as we continue to build our fitness for the coming Premiership challenge ahead in 2018/19 but with the season beginning for real tomorrow as we host Europa League opposition at Ibrox, it certainly seems that the spirit in the camp is where it needs to be.

Rangers know the perils of the competition at this stage and the type of opposition you can face, especially the away leg in not exactly usual conditions, but there are high expectations amongst the fanbase about Thursday’s clash with FC Shkupi.

The arrival of Steven Gerrard and his time at the club will begin for real at 7.45pm and that’s before we even get to the boost fans have received following the arrivals we’ve made as he’s strengthened the group since he walked through the door.

We may have prepared as best we can for a Wednesday and more work will go in tomorrow for sure, but if we can take our offensive opportunities as easily as the one in the below picture is, fans will get their hope for a big win to boost morale even further.

And probably the best comment.

If the performance matches the hijinks!
