Rangers fans of a certain age will remember when clubs used to release songs for cup finals, not only that but players like Paul Gascoigne, Chris Waddle and Glen Hoddle graced the charts with questionable entries that are now, thankfully, confined to the history books.

With Rangers reaching the final of the Europa League an โofficialโ song with James Tavernier leading the vocals was never going to be likely, however, with the growing mantra of โMake us Dreamโ from the club and BT Sport tantalisingly close to being reality, Saint Phnx decided to take matters into their own hands.

The Rangers supporting band have never been shy about their allegiances, singing Blue Sea of Ibrox on A View from the Terrace, providing entertainment at half-time in the recent legends match and before our RB Leipzig semi-final in the fanzone, now though, they have penned what they hope will become the soundtrack for many Gers fans as they embark on the journeys of a lifetime.

Appropriately titled โMake us Dreamโ the group released the single at midnight last night and is now available to download, a song that encapsulates what it means to be a Rangers fan, where weโve come from and the opportunity that the players now have in front of them.

Itโs a dream that we all share and a dream that could, in just a couple of days time, become reality. It still hasnโt really sunk in and wonโt until the referee blows the whistle to get the game kicked off on Wednesday evening in Seville – as Saint Phnx sing โyou gave us something to believe, we follow you, now make us dreamโ.
