The league resumption did not go to plan for the Gers last night as we lost to Kilmarnock 2-1 at Rugby Park.

For sure, it was a far from impressive performance from the men in orange as, after a good 25 minute opening spell, Joe Worrall’s mistake let Killie in.

Indeed, we never really recovered from that and it remains to be seen if we look to add to the squad further before Deadline Day.

One man we look set to miss out on this month, though, is Karlan Grant with him linked with our club not so long ago by the Scottish Sun.

Indeed, as per the Daily Mail, he is nearing a move to the Premier League with Huddersfield as he looks to leave Charlton Athletic.

The Terriers are in the top-flight, of course, but for how much longer remains to be seen with them struggling for form and having just changed their manager.
