According to the Daily Mail – via the Scottish Sun – Charlton midfielder Joe Aribo is set to make a decision over his future in the next week.

The attacking midfielder is certainly an exciting prospect and the Scottish Sun has referred to us as a potential destination.

Certainly, it would be an exciting arrival for us as he has the power and guile to break lines and make things happen in the final third.

And, indeed, we’re set to learn whether or not he is going to be coming to Ibrox in the next few days as the report alleges that a decision is on the way.

What he decides to do remains to be seen, of course, but hopefully the idea of working for Steven Gerrard and ousting Celtic from the top of the league will prove too tempting to turn down.

And, if we don’t get him, at least we’ll have plenty of time to identify alternative targets.
