Rangers have seen Ryan Hardie join Blackpool this summer as the player looks to become a first-team regular in the upcoming campaign.

The Gers have had a very busy summer window so far.

Steven Gerrard has signed a lot of players with the likes of Joe Aribo and George Edmundson coming in.

And, though not a lot of strikers have been signed, it was clear from the start of the window that Hardie would be down the pecking order if he had stayed put so it makes sense that he has taken to the road down south.

Blackpool will be looking to challenge in League One this season for the play-off places with Simon Grayson back in charge and a new set-up in the boardroom which should generate a feel-good factor at the club.

There’s plenty there for Hardie to go and make a name for himself, then, and now it remains to be seen whether or not he can grasp the chance with him signing for an undisclosed fee.
