Beale the man to fix misfiring Kent

A recent analysis of Ryan Kent’s form identified what looked to be a relatively easy fix to get the Rangers winger back to his best.
His dribbling and creativity numbers are as good and as consistent as they have ever been but we all know where he has been struggling – goals.
How he could be so productive in some areas but weak where it matters most isn’t the secret that you might think it is either, The Rangers Review highlighted where the 26-year old did his best work in the title-winning season with his shot location being pivotal to his success.
The good news is Michael Beale is unlikely to keep Kent hugging the touchline and want him to be more involved in the middle of the park. It’s not rocket science, he will score more goals if he has more attempts from central locations rather than tight angles and from 25-yards out.
Kent will be a key player under the new manager but the elephant in the room has to be addressed and you would think that would be one of Beale’s first conversations.
Are you staying or are you going?
Considering Beale was a key factor in getting Kent to Rangers in the first place, I’d be surprised if the odds of the winger staying haven’t been significantly cut. A happy player is always more likely to want to stay, especially if they feel wanted.
If Rangers are to have any chance of closing the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, an on-form Ryan Kent is imperative, hopefully, Beale can get him back to his best.
