On-form Ryan Kent remains on the radar of Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United and, according to The Scottish Sun, if they miss out on one target, they will return for the Rangers forward.

Man United’s Daniel James is their primary target having been knocked back with a £10million bid for Kent, The Sun claims that Steven Gerrard would be looking for £15m at least to let him go, however, he is now – arguably – the most important player at Ibrox and could easily command a Scottish record fee if he were to depart.

The Gers gaffer has reiterated in recent days that the 23-year old is not for sale and that there is no rush to cash in on the former Liverpool man, as reported by Sky Sports:

“We’re really enjoying Ryan’s form at the moment. He’s bringing some real highs into the team. He was fantastic again [against Willem]. He changed the game for us from an attacking point of view.

“When you get these exciting players in this form it’s only natural that people are watching them from afar, but from our point of view he’s not for sale. We don’t want him to go and we want him to keep evolving here with us.”

To ease the fears of Rangers fans, the player himself has said that he is happy at the club and has no intentions of leaving, with 5 goals and 5 assists so far this season, his form has been pivotal in seeing Gerrard’s side top the table and ease into the play-off round of the Europa League against Galatasaray, few would bet against him being the star man once again when the Turkish giants come to town.
