Rangers’ Scottish Premiership season continued with a win against Partick Thistle at the Firhill Stadium on Saturday.

A late double from Joe Dodoo, the second in injury-time, saw Rangers come from a behind to pick up a 2-1 win at Patrick Thistle that lifted the Gers above Aberdeen into second behind rivals Celtic.

Rangers had chances, which weren’t taken, before Partick went ahead with little under 15 minutes remaining when Kris Doolan put Thistle, second-bottom coming into this game, ahead.

Dodoo, one of those Mark Warburton again turned to having done so in the late win over Dundee at Ibrox a week earlier, came off the bench again in this game with the former Leicester striker certainly made an impact when he drew Rangers level on 81 minutes.

As the game entered the dying moments, with Rangers seemingly having to be content with a point, the chance to win it came for Dodoo when he was put in by Kenny Miller, with this chance taken as the 21-year-old beat Patrick keeper Thorsten Stuckmann for a second time in the 94th minute to seal the three points.

This win, which meant Thistle remain without a win at Firhill since the opening day of the season, not only took Rangers up to second it also extended the unbeaten run to seven games ahead of the meeting with Hearts in midweek.

Here’s a round up of the Scottish Premiership action from the other games played.
