Rangers have once again been linked with Danish wonderkid, Andreas Skov Olsen, with the 20-year old winger’s club, Bologna, said to be open to a loan or loan-to-buy deal as reported by football-italia.net.

Rangers aren’t the only club said to be interested and would face stiff competition, however, a deal similar to the one that saw Ianis Hagi arrive in January would be an exciting prospect for fans of the Light Blues given the excitement surrounding the youngster before he moved to Serie A.
Bologna’s Director of Football, Walter Sabatini, suggested that they are looking for a permanent rather than loan deal for Olsen who doesn’t seem to be getting much time to settle, as reported in Gazzetta dello Sport:
“If one of Baldursson, Skov Olsen or Svanberg are to leave, it won’t happen on loan, and above all with an offer you can’t refuse”.
Steven Gerrard has already added extra firepower in the shape of Cedric Itten and Kemar Roofe and now looks to have identified creativity as his next priority with Olsen capable of playing anywhere in the forward line behind a striker.
Do Rangers need extra creativity?
Yes
No
With the Danish Under-21 international costing Bologna over £5million just last year and obviously being a player of some potential, he wouldn’t come cheap, whether or not the Gers gaffer has enough left in his transfer kitty, only time will tell.
