There has been an official reaction from Rangers following the UEFA disciplinary outcome today.
It was a short, consise statement from the club, following which it has pledged ‘no further comment’.

The response from the club read:
“Rangers notes the UEFA disciplinary decision relating to our fixture v Slavia Prague at Ibrox on 18th March.”
“We welcome the suspension imposed on Ondrej Kudela. This not only vindicates Glen Kamara’s evidence but underlines the severity of the comment, given the maximum number of games has been imposed by UEFA.”
“Nevertheless, we believe the sanctions imposed on our two players (Glen Kamara and Kemar Roofe) are severe. We have written to UEFA, seeking clarification in writing on the basis that we intend to appeal the suspensions on both of players.”
“We will make no further comment on this matter.”
The offical statement above appears to have misread the situation.
From UEFA’s disciplinary codes, the 10 game ban is the MINIMUM sanction open to them for ‘racism and other discriminatory conduct’
10 games is the minimum ban available to UEFA, the Rangers statement states the opposite. https://t.co/Y5d78AWN7W pic.twitter.com/Qhocj51PQh

It remains to be cleared up if Kamara’s ban will apply to international tournament games and not just club fixtures. If so, that would all but rule him out of EURO 2020 and would be a travesty.
We haven’t heard the last on this fall-out, far from it.
The reply from UEFA on the appeal will be interesting, given the requested clarification from Rangers.
