Rangers have got a few areas that need to be addressed this summer in the transfer window, but I am confident that we will be able to sort them out.
It has been a slow start to the transfer window and, despite the many links doing the rounds, we’ve not really got that close to making signings happen.
However, I believe it will click soon and perhaps we shall see exactly that happen with James Lawrence – a 26-year-old centre-back at Belgian side Anderlecht.
According to the Daily Record, the defender is of interest to the Gers and we are interested in making a £3m move for him happen.
He is also wanted by the likes of Swansea and Stoke according to the same report, though, so there could be quite the battle on our hands.
However, it would seem we’re serious enough if we do go for him as that would be significant money for our club in the transfer window – and it suggests we’re ready to make a splash this summer. Hopefully…
