According to the Scottish Sun, Rangers are willing to let attacking player Jake Hastie leave the club on loan this summer – weeks after arriving at Ibrox.
The Gers are hopefully going to challenge Celtic for the title next season and Hastie is one player that will want to help us knock them off of their perch.
However, the young winger could well be given a watching brief for next season in terms of what we do as he could leave the club on a temporary deal.
It is perhaps a little bit of a surprise to see such a rumour come about given he has only just joined the side but he is still young and perhaps Steven feels as though he has a little bit more to learn.
And, indeed, if the boss doesn’t feel as though Hastie will get much of a chance to do that in the 2019/20 campaign, it does make obvious sense to avoid him sitting about on the bench if possible next season.
