Eros Grezda is set to leave Rangers soon with the Ibrox club and the 24-year-old ready to part ways just a year after his arrival.

This news come via the Daily Record who have quoted the player’s agent as saying that an exit is imminent and that Grezda will be ‘leaving the club soon.’

A shame perhaps, in that we never got to see the best of him but, for sure, it is no surprise and it simply did not work for him during the time he was here.

Whether or not we can recoup any of the fee we laid out for him remains to be seen, though.

Certainly, you’d have thought we’re going to take a loss on him given the year he has had but any financial gain we can make would probably be welcome.

At least he’ll be off of the books, too, and hopefully we can continue to streamline the squad.

  • An unfathomably poor signing from which all involved should learn from, once and for all or completely disentangle themselves from transfer matters. Unfortunately, he is not yet off the books but it cannot happen a minute too soon.
