Joel Piroe, once rated at £20million by Swansea City, has been added to the list of growing names apparently on Ross Wilson’s radar to add more depth and quality to our front line, the striker’s impressive 38 goals in two seasons likely to see him attract interest from south of the border and overseas.

One player who has already been linked but who is probably not as well known is Petar Ratkov, the teenage Serbian who is looking more and more like his career is only going in one direction.

The FK TSC striker enjoyed another productive weekend and was unlucky not to add a goal to an assist that Antonio Colak could do well with watching after his effort at the weekend, Fashion Sakala is probably still asking him why he didn’t square it.

Anderlecht and Parma were previously interested and Ratkov is starting to post the sort of numbers that will see him get a move to a bigger club in the summer. A £2million fee in January was said to be the figure that his club was looking for.

The 19-year old might not be identified as a possible replacement for Alfredo Morelos, however, his ability to play either centrally or in support of a striker makes him an interesting option and one that, if he continues to display such composure, we should seriously consider bidding for.
