Watch as Gio fumes at Gers response to demand

One thing that we always got from Steven Gerrard was passion, having taken the plunge into management to get back into the dressing room and hold onto the buzz of winning games of football, he lived and breathed every moment in his time at Rangers as if he was still playing.

He never said anything without a purpose, however, he could be guilty of being too emotional in post-match press conferences, an accusation that could never be thrown at Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Even in the aftermath of the most depressing of performances, he was able to remain calm, the same story that we saw after refereeing decisions have clearly gone against us.

Rangers fans wanting him to be more irate at injustices or sub-standard displays will be waiting a long time though.

One video has emerged on social media that shows Gio is far from passive when it comes to players not meeting his standards or not putting into practice what has been worked on in training.

Quick free kicks and thrown-ins cost us time and time again at Parkhead and the one above shows John Lundstram having to react to others not doing their job properly. That the manager was screaming for someone to pick up Matt O’Riley only for his players not to deal with it provoking the exasperated response from Van Bronckhorst.

As clear an indication as any that the players badly let us down.

Gio will be hoping, as we all will, that there is an immediate response because any more lapses like the ones seen on Saturday could see us out of the title race before it has even begun.
