Motherwell winger has signed a pre-contract deal with Rangers that will see him arrive at Ibrox in the summer, according to The Scottish Sun.

The paper say he will join Steven Gerrard’s side for four years after the Gers fought off competition from multiple clubs in the English Championship and Major League Soccer.

The 20-year-old only made his first start for the Steelmen this season after developing in their youth sides and on loan, but has massively impressed since making the breakthrough, scoring seven goals in 14 appearances since January.

Rangers will have to pay ‘a chunky development fee’, report The Scottish Sun, due to the fact the player has been at Motherwell for over ten years, but the recruitment team at Ibrox clearly feel he is worth it.

The player was not included in Motherwell’s starting eleven to face Hamilton at the weekend, with manager Stephen Robinson admitting that the club know they will be losing him at the end of the season.
