Rangers breezed into the next stage of Europa League qualifying last night with a fine performance against Gibraltarian minnows St. Joseph’s.
The Gers were excellent during the whole tie and topped off the first leg win with a second leg hammering to win the whole thing 10-0 on aggregate.
One bit of concerning news to come out of the club since, though, is that Daniel Candeias could well be set to leave the club.
Indeed, as per the BBC, Rangers have let him talk to a Turkish side in the shape of Genclerbirligi and though we’d like to see him stay it’s very possible that he could move on this summer.
I thought the winger was certainly one of our better players last season and with the added competition signed this summer he might well have upped his game.
It seems, though, he is open to an exit from Ibrox and if he does leave it’ll be a real shame.
