We’re heading into another game this weekend in which, realistically, we need to win, and that’s become all too familiar as of late. Unfortunately, our last two games have left us feeling disappointed, but let’s hope that it’s third-time lucky.

Ahead of the game, Andy Halliday has been discussing our recent form, and he appears to be determined to make things right.

Halliday said: “This is when you are going to be judged that little bit more in the stands and in the media”.

He added: “I definitely think we have the group of boys who can handle that but it is all talk, it is about showing that”.

He is, clearly, determined to make things right at Ibrox, and that’s what we need. As he says, it’s time to stop talking about the group or the potential of the group, and it’s time to start making an impact in the Scottish top flight.

Fortunately, we think that he’s absolutely right. On paper, we’ve got a fantastic squad, and we’ve certainly got a top manager. But now it’s time to stop looking at the paper and actually get some words down.

We’re set to take on St Mirren this weekend, and we’re really hopeful of a win. One result could truly get us rolling again, and that’s what we need.
