According to Football Insider, Ross Wilson wants to make Graeme Mathie from Hibernian his first appointment as part of his recruitment team and he wants to do it quickly.

The Gers have started this season very well indeed but it was a bit of a shock when Mark Allen decided that he wanted to leave the club.

We’ve moved fairly quickly for an appointment of this size, though, to get Ross Wilson in from Southampton and it seems as though he is now looking to add to his team before looking to bring in new players.

Indeed, Mathie is the number two at Hibernian at the moment and could well be poached to do a similar role at Ibrox, though it remains to be seen if he will want to move or not.

You would have thought, though, that working for our club would be a big pull for him given the direction we’re headed in.
