Gers fans are starting to sit up and take notice of the 19-year old who would, at least, offer an alternative option off the bench, there is also no doubting that he could handle the physicality of first-team football given that he is in better shape than some of his senior colleagues.

It’s not quite time for panic stations but something isn’t quite right with this Rangers team, the culmination of gifting teams a lead – eight times already this season – and not taking enough chances, is a huge cause for concern, whether or not a teenager with just a handful of appearances against lower league opposition is the answer, I’m not so sure.
