The Gers suffered a defeat at the weekend against Aberdeen in the League Cup, of course, and will need to assess where things went wrong and change accordingly.
It was a tough one to watch despite good chances and it seems as though we’ll need to improve our big-game mentality as a squad.
One man who certainly had that, though, was Paul Gascoigne and he took to Twitter after the applause in the 8th minute was offered him:

Interestingly, he also spoke about the Hall of Fame debacle that saw him set to be inducted before his offer was revoked.
It was a silly move from those in charge but Gazza will always have the acclaim and praise of our fans for his performances in the famous blue shirt.
He seems in good spirits about it, too, and that is certainly the main thing after a typical u-turn from those in charge.
