Rangers will be looking to keep the progress going in Europe with FC Midtjylland up next in the third round of Europa League qualifying.

The Gers have worked through the rounds in pretty steady fashion so far this season but the games are going to get that bit tougher now as we look to make it into the groups.

And, should we get past the Scandinavian side, we’ve learned who we could play once it gets to the play-off round – the final one before the groups start.

Indeed, it could be one of two teams, with them in games against one another in the next round first of all and it’s either Legia Warsaw or Atromitos as per the club’s official Twitter.

As per the Scottish Sun, it was set to be out of this eight:

Pyunik (ARM) / Wolverhampton Wanderers (ENG)

Legia Warszawa (POL) / Atromitos (GRE)

FCSB (ROU) / Mladá Boleslav (CZE)

Haugesund (NOR) / PSV Eindhoven (NED)

Avoiding Wolves and PSV is probably ideal in the final round but the other teams I think we’d be able to beat over two legs so I’m confident we can take on this draw positively.

First, though, we need to get to that stage.
