Rangers figure’s comments confirm Gers are in chase for attacking ace

|

Quoted by the Daily Record, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has hinted that he has plans for Ryan Kent to be at the club next season.

The Gers enjoyed a lot of success last season with Kent in the side and he certainly did a good job in impressing us with his performances.

He was direct and tricky out wide and it would certainly be nice to see him at the club again for next season.

Speaking whilst on the training camp in Portugal, then, Steven Gerrard had this to say about the current Liverpool man:

“We love the player, we feel as if we did a good job with him for 12 months and feel there’s more to come in the job we’d like to do with him. The reality is there is competition and Liverpool still own the player so they’ve got the final say on him.”

Clearly, the boss has confirmed that we are in the chase for the attacker and that is pleasing to see.

There is obviously competition for him but, crucially, we know the player and he knows us – hopefully, that will count for something.

The window is starting to kick on now for the Gers and signing Kent would be a nice addition for sure.
