Speaking to Football Insider, Alan Hutton has told Rangers fans that we might well have seen the last of Jordan Rossiter in a Rangers kit as his contract winds down this season.
The midfielder has shown plenty of promise at times during his spell at the club but as injuries mounted up he found himself falling down the pecking order.
He enjoyed a decent loan at Bury and is now at Fleetwood Town where it seems as though he is doing all right again.
However, he’s not at the level we need him to be anymore and it would make sense if we let him go at the end of his contract.
Indeed, Hutton seems to think that we’ll be seeing very little of him in Light Blue from now on.
He said:
“He’s out on loan at the moment, can I see him playing for Rangers again? No, not really. Midfield, they’re very strong at the moment.”
It’s fair to say it’s easy to agree with Hutton, too, as it’s clear that he’s just not at the level we need anymore.
