According to the Scottish Sun, Kemar Roofe is being eyed by Rangers as a potential replacement for Alfredo Morelos if the South American striker leaves the club this summer.
The Gers’ forward is our best player but with every window there is always going to be concern that clubs are going to come in and try and whisk him away.
It appears, then, that the club is ready to try and prepare for any eventuality that sees him leave Ibrox and apparently Kemar Roofe is the one that they are taking a look at.
Roofe was one of Leeds’ best players last season in the Championship as they made the play-offs under Marcelo Bielsa in his first year in charge.
However, the fact of the matter is that they did not get promoted to the Premier League and if Morelos goes we’ll be able to offer him top flight football and the opportunity to play in Europe.
