Rangers look set to see Glenn Middleton head to Hibernian in the very near future with him having a medical at the Easter Road side yesterday afternoon.
It’s obviously never something that is going to be regular – us and Hibs dealing with one another – but this could be a good move for the winger if we just look at it in isolation.
He’s showed some nice stuff already for the Gers and did well at times last season and this move should give him the chance to really rack up the minutes at the highest level of Scottish football.
Paul Heckingbottom has a decent record of working with young players from his time at Barnsley in particular and he too should help Middleton come along.
Sky Sports Scotland reported yesterday that he has undergone a medical and now it seems only a matter of time until it is announced by the look of things.
