Rangers have been drawn away to Falkirk in the Scottish Communities League Cup third round. It’s a tricky away tie for Rangers who now need to make sure they get successful runs in the cups after being knocked out of Europe last week.
Celtic were also drawn away against first division opposition. They play Ross County. The full draw is as follows:
St Johnstone v St Mirren
Ross County v Celtic
Kilmarnock v Queen of the South
Falkirk v Rangers
Motherwell v Hibernian
Ayr United v Heart of Midlothian
Aberdeen v East Fife
Airdrie United v Dundee United
Ties to be played on Tuesday 20 or Wednesday 21 September.
