According to the Scottish Sun, Rangers could move for full-back Daniel Opare this summer – on the condition that James Tavernier leaves the club too.

The Gers have been excellent in getting in some decent players so far but this is arguably the biggest window under Steven Gerrard’s reign up until now.

And, that in mind, it looks as though a number of our key players are attracting interest – Tav included.

Premier League sides want him, then, and if he does leave it looks as though Opare could be his replacement with him boasting plenty of pace and power from that right-back area.

Currently playing for Royal Antwerp, he has 12 months left on his contract at the moment and could be available for £500k.

Certainly, you’d think we’d get more than that for James Tavernier so no financial loss there, but I would prefer us to keep the captain at the club for next season in all honesty.
