According to the Scottish Sun, Rangers could move for full-back Daniel Opare this summer – on the condition that James Tavernier leaves the club too.

The Gers have been excellent in getting in some decent players so far but this is arguably the biggest window under Steven Gerrard’s reign up until now.

And, that in mind, it looks as though a number of our key players are attracting interest – Tav included.

Premier League sides want him, then, and if he does leave it looks as though Opare could be his replacement with him boasting plenty of pace and power from that right-back area.

Currently playing for Royal Antwerp, he has 12 months left on his contract at the moment and could be available for £500k.

Certainly, you’d think we’d get more than that for James Tavernier so no financial loss there, but I would prefer us to keep the captain at the club for next season in all honesty.

  • I havent been able to read a story on this page for quite a while now, your ads are trashing the page, covering up half the story with no way to read it, you’ve no links for a ‘contact us’ to actually send you these issues so it’s no longer a page to visit, ads have ruined it ????????

    • Totally agree, hardly ever click a story now because of the adverts, think they need to get it sorted

  • Huge as plastered across the screen not to mention the loads of other small ones. My guess is whoever runs the site is using it as a front just to make £££ from as many ads as they can possibly get, who cares if the viewers can’t actually read the stories!!!
