According to the Daily Record, Nottingham Forest will have to pay a fee if they want to bring back Joe Worrall to their club from his loan at ours.

The defender was signed in the summer on a season-long loan and it was clear early on that Steven Gerrard wanted to bring him in if he could.

The boss might well have to contend with losing him, though, with Forest considering a recall – though if they are they are going to have to offer some money.

For sure, it’ll be interesting to see if Forest are willing to pay and, indeed, how much the figure is but after all they are mucking up our plans slightly.

I don’t believe that we’d miss him greatly, but even so it would make a hole in our squad that would need to be addressed in the coming weeks.

Perhaps, then, this fee was a good inclusion in the original deal.
