Rangers have had a strong summer window so far and it is clear that we are looking strong for the new campaign.

The Gers have had an exciting time of things so far but there has been a bit of news that has tempered the good feeling around the club in recent days.

Indeed, as per the BBC, the Gers have lost out in a court ruling over a shirt deal that we struck away from Sports Direct and it has been ruled that they should have been allowed to compete with the offers Elite/Hummel put on the table.

It’s a bit of a mess, but despite the Gers terminating a merchandise agreement with Sports Direct last year, they should have apparently still been allowed to match the shirt deal that we did strike away from them.

The club has now said that they will match whatever financial penalty is handed out and it remains to be seen exactly what happens hereafter.
