Young goalkeeper Robby McCrorie has left the club for a season-long loan deal to Scottish side Queen of the South.
The Gers have several goalkeepers on their books at the moment and though it remains to be seen if we are going to keep all of them, it seems as though McCrorie will not be a part of things next year.
Indeed, he has joined the SPFL side for the new campaign and will be looking to show Steven Gerrard and co. what he can do from afar.
The news was confirmed on the Gers’ official website.
A young stopper, it is always hard for players his age in that position to play for the very biggest clubs.
Indeed, few his age apart from the very exceptional play at the top level and so he should realise that this is a chance for him to take a real step in his progression.
Let’s hope he takes it with both hands.
