The Gers have come flying out of the box in this January window and it certainly seems as though we’re looking to steal a march on Celtic.
Indeed, Steven Gerrard has clearly got some targets in mind and the board has been quick to back him and try and make things happen.
Certainly, when you look at Celtic floundering you can’t help but dare to think that this year it could be time for 55 – especially if the signings bed in.
One man having a medical ahead of a pre-contract, though, is Jordan Jones – according to Sky – and so they will only arrive come the new season.
Even so, it is exciting to see the Gers going for it in the transfer window once again and go after players that have got a bit about them.
Jones has impressed at Kilmarnock and it seems as though he is on the way to our club all being well in these final stages.
