Rangers are champions of Scotland for the – world record breaking – 55th time without having to break sweat or kick a ball in anger.

Celtic’s failure to win against Dundee United means that they can no longer mathematically catch us and gives us the luxury of being able to enjoy the last two Old Firm games, personally, if Alfredo Morelos doesn’t give Scott Brown a gentle pat on the head, I’ll be hugely disappointed.

This weekend has almost been a perfect display of the differences between the two sides – Rangers, did exactly what they needed to do, had the points all but wrapped up inside 20 minutes and effected a game plan to perfection whereas Celtic looked rudderless, clueless and hopeless as they ran out of ideas time after time.

Rangers are world record holders, are the most successful team in the country and in Steven Gerrard we have a manager who has restored “natural order” – we welcome the chase.
