First of all, Scott Brown should be applauded for his actions before kick-off today when both sides were warming up, he didn’t have to approach Glen Kamara but it was a sign that sometimes there are things that are more important than football.
After kick-off, however, he should be rightly derided for first of all claiming that Celtic should have had a stonewall penalty when Odsonne Edouard clearly dived and second for not being able to say Alfredo Morelos’s name when he knew fine well that it was the Colombian international who scored Rangers equaliser, the way that he stuttered was a far cry from the hubris shown after previously convincing Old Firm wins.

The pain was almost palpable, bizarrely awarded Sky Sports man of the match despite not even being Celtic’s best player, for a club that has spent all week talking about class, humility and being humble, their skipper and manager could maybe have done with a quick reminder today.
Gers fans took to Twitter to laugh at Brown who now finds himself on the periphery of Old Firm games – it’s not Sean Goss and Jon Toral he’s playing against now and it sticks out a mile.
Even the tims must be embarrassed by that interview. Meant to be your ‘hardman’ captain π Dry yer eyes mate.

Respect for pre-match but clearly rattled now playing to the bitter brigade. Edouard should’ve been sent off for cheating twice by diving. We never left first gear today π

Scott Brown has lost any credibility by saying whoever scored their goal π he started the day off well but failed miserable there in this interview. pic.twitter.com/noPsu8Tpue

It’s incredible how quickly things have turned around, Brown clutching at straws after a dead rubber 1-1 draw says it all.
