You can see it all over social media, in fact, you probably see it in your work place on a daily basis, Celtic fans already think that they have the treble wrapped up.

Their 3-0 win at Parkhead has given them the impression that the job is done and all they have to do is turn up for the remaining fixtures of the season to add to their league cup triumph from earlier in the season.

It’s one thing seeing fans talk about it but now, Matt O’Riley has added to Giorgios Giakoumakis’s earlier arrogance about who he believes is the best team in the country, that he has openly admitted about Celtic players talking about a possible treble should be all the motivation that the Rangers squad needs to beat them, if winning itself isn’t enough.

Aside from the varying fortunes in refereeing decisions since the winter break was moved to suit them, there has been little between the two sides other than the game at Parkhead where Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side simply didn’t turn up and were punished.

Our displays against Borussia Dortmund and Red Star Belgrade should be more than enough to remind our players exactly what they are capable of though and the manager now has an almost fully fit squad to choose from – it’s also no coincidence that since Leon Balogun and Filip Helander have returned to the side we’ve kept four clean sheets, their importance can’t be understated.

As well as our two most senior centre-halves we now have Kemar Roofe looking back to his best, Ryan Jack at 100% and Aaron Ramsey finally available for selection – this is a totally different Rangers team to the one that meekly surrendered at the beginning of February, this simply wouldn’t happen with Alfredo Morelos leading the line.

Pin it on the dressing room wall, share it on the WhatsApp group, either way, make sure that every Rangers player knows they have written us off and we should make every effort to ram their words back down their throats.
