One of the highlights of Sunday’s Old Firm game was Joe Aribo, Ryan Kent and Nathan Patterson combining to all but end the Celtic career of the hapless Diego Laxalt.
The Uruguayan international left-back, one can only presume he was selected in a similar way to that of Stephen O’Donnell for Scotland – nobody else available – is currently on loan from AC Milan but has an impressive CV with the likes of Torino, Genoa, Bologna and Inter Milan listed as his previous clubs, not that you would know it given his performances since arriving in Scotland.

Milan paid £17million for this guy, £17m?! Imagine what the bidding will start for Borna Barisic if any of the Italian giants come calling for the Croatian international after a successful European Championships.
Anyway, I digress, remember when Laxalt was hailed as the second coming of Paulo Maldini after making 13 tackles against Lille in the Europa League, admittedly it was a long time ago during the group stages, so you can be forgiven for forgetting?
