According to the Belfast Telegraph, Rangers are in a battle with the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham for Lindfield teenager Charlie Allen.
The Gers have been excellent so far this season and have got themselves to the top of the league with some great form.
Indeed, we’re looking good at the moment and you would have to say similar about the youth set-up with our academy one of the best in the country.
We’re always looking to add to the young players we’ve got on the books, though, and it seems as though Allen is one man that we’re considering bringing in.
With Chelsea and Spurs among those looking at him, though, it is going to be tough.
Spurs have some great young players and give them opportunities whilst we know how prolific Chelsea are at hoovering up talented youngsters.
We can give him a clear path to first-team action, though, so maybe that’ll tempt him.
