A €2,5m. plus €500k add ons plus 15% sell on clause deal@PAOK_FC @RangersFC #PAOK #Rangers #RangersFC #RFC— Giannis Chorianopoulos (@choria80) July 6, 2022
Athens based journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos made the revelation on his Twitter page and it now looks as though Giovanni van Bronckhorst is about to get his man, for a week now it has seemed as if it was only a matter of time but the Croatian international should now be in place to face Sunderland on Saturday.
The fee is as expected, around the £1.8million mark plus the usual performance related add-ons, there had been reports that these were specifically linked to qualification for the Champions League which, if we make it, become loose change and worth every penny.
Regarding reports of “third bids” for Colak and different fees: the deal has remained the same for a week – £1.8m.

It’s exciting to get a new striker in and especially one that has regularly scored goals but with Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe clearly not fit, it’s easy to see why he became a priority target after the sale of Cedric Itten – we needed more goals and someone that we know can lead the line in the Champions League.
With Joe Aribo expected to move to Southampton in the very near future, we could, finally, be about to see out transfer window kicking in to gear, not that it will stop the moaning of course.
