Rangers are in for an interesting season you would like to think and it seems as though things are finally happening on the transfer front.

Players are starting to arrive and hopefully by the end of the window Steven Gerrard will be happy with his squad.

It is clear, however, that the Gers still need to address certain areas – with one of those at full-back.

If we want to sign Max Lowe, though, it looks as though that is going to be a tough battle.

According to the Express, Celtic have now joined the race to sign the defender with us and Aberdeen already apparently keen.

Lowe already knows the league after a loan spell up here from Derby last season and so it wouldn’t take him long to adapt if he joined our club.

A bright young defender with room to grow, you’d hope that if he signed he would complement James Tavernier on the other side of defence.

Let’s see if we can get him.

  • This is the same player who slagged rangers last season we fans don’t forget it’s a no deal for me

    • Plus you need money to buy players, as Sevco have a huge bill coming from Ashley it looks like more borrowing from Close Brothers.
When will the gullible realise King has wasted many many millions on futile court cases he always looses, your club is skint and heading for administration

      • You with your filthy disgusting “club like no other” have a cheek to criticize anyone. It wasn’t just big jock that knew, everyone did and they all turned a blind eye. A club like no other right enough.

      • Pot calling the kettle black, how many players has Celtic signed this far Neil Lennon doesn’t seem to have the pull Gerrard has Aribo proved that, plus Cleric, s resources will be decimated once the child molesting alkegetations go to court, heard if Jimmy Saville was still alive Good chance yous would sighn him lol
