Rangers fans aren’t enjoying the news that Borna Barisic will be out of action for a number of weeks after sustaining an injury on international duty.
The player himself confirmed he will be out for a minimum of a fortnight after sustaining another ankle problem during Croatia’s match against Hungary on Sunday.
Signed from NK Osijek last summer, hopes were initially high about the impact he could make in Steven Gerrard’s side, but his season has been blighted by injury, gaining a reputation as something of a sick-note.
Now missing crucial league matches in the tail-end of the campaign, including Sunday’s trip to Celtic Park his reputation continues to decline amongst supporters, with some even feeling the club should look to get rid of him during this summer’s transfer window.
