If ever there was a good example of why change is needed to the SPL structure then this is it. Rangers away to Dundee United at Tannadice, AGAIN! It seems we have been up there almost every other week.

Still, we just have to get on with it, and now we can do it with the pressure off after clinching the championship last week at Easter Road. Dundee United are also out of the running for second place so this is pretty much a meaningless game.

Hopefully then with the pressure off both teams, it will be a nice open game and a good spectacle for the fans. This one is also not live which is unusual for a Rangers away game… Rangers away in the league on a Saturday at 3pm… it doesn’t seem right somehow.

Dundee Utd Team News:

Jennison Myrie-Williams is suspended after picking up two yellow card and being sent off againt Celtic last week.

Damian Casalinuovo, Kevin Smith and Danny Cadamarteri will get a chance to impress the manager ahead of their Scottish Cup Final appearance later in the month.

Player to watch: Danny Cadamarteri

Ex Everton player can be a good player on his day.

Rangers Team News:

Sasa Papac starts his two match ban today and should be replaced by Steven Smith.

Madjid Bougherra is out injured again, as is his young understudy meaning that McCulloch will be in defence for Rangers, meaning Rangers will be fielding a makeshift defence.

Player to watch: Steven Davis

A good shout for player of the year.
