A three o’clock kick-off on a Saturday. That surely has to be a rare occurance? A welcome occurance though. Visitors to Ibrox for this 3pm kick-off are Hibernian.

The Hibees are sitting third bottom of the SPL with only nine points to their name so far this season. But beware, after a nightmare start to the season, Hibernian are turning things round and will be dangerous opponents.

The Edinburgh side have chalked up a few wins at Ibrox over the past few seasons so they are not to be taken lightly.

Ally McCoist now has a settled team. He seems to know his strongest eleven now and but for the suspension of Steven Naismith the team would surely have been unchanged for Tuesday night’s game against Kilmarnock, and this game.

Ortiz got the nod in the last game, but McCoist could be tempted to use Bedoya, or even bring Lee Wallace back in at right back and push Steven Whittaker into midfield.

Rangers Team News:

Rangers have the likes of Davie Weir and Lee Wallace back from injury but the game might come too soon for Weir.

The only real injuries are long term absentees Kyle Bartley and Kane Hemmings.

Player to watch: Steven Davis

Makes Rangers tick.

Hibernian Team News:

Hibernian manager Colin Calderwood will be without the injured Danny Galbraith, Michael Hart and Matt Thornhill.

Player to watch: Garry O’Connor

Has troubles off the field but none whatsoever on it with 10 goals from 11 games so far this season.
