It’s back to league business for Rangers after an international break, and it’s the rarity of a 3PM kick-off on a Saturday afternoon.

St Johnstone are the visitors to Ibrox today. The Saints have done well this season, so much so that they have lost their manager, former Rangers midfielder Derek McInnes to Bristol City.

The Saints are fourth in the league. Just seven points behind Celtic and Motherwell, although they are a full nineteen points behind leaders Rangers who are in total control in the league as they close in on four in a row.

Rangers are still rocked after losing Naismith to injury for the rest of the season but know they just have to get on with it and hope that they can carry on their good form without him.

Rangers are still unbeaten in the league this season. Their best form has actually been away from home where they have won all seven games. All dropped points this season have been at Ibrox with draws against Hearts and St Mirren.

Rangers Team News:

Rangers have plenty of problems. Gregg Wylde is suspended whilst as we know Steven Naismith is out injured for the season.

On top of that, Ally McCoist will also be without the services of Sasa Papac, David Weir, Lee Wallace, Kyle Bartley and David Healy due to injuries.

Jamie Ness has recovered from injury but is likely to be on the bench rather than start.
