It’s being reported that Rangers have rejected an offer from Preston North End for midfielder Josh Windass.

The BBC were one of many to report that the English Championship side had levelled an offer of £500,000 for the former Accrington Stanley player but that was rejected by the club.

The 23 year old joined last year and is contracted at Ibrox until the summer of 2020 and so far this season he’s found the net six times.

Windass is expected to play his part in today’s clash with Celtic having now served his suspension but it remains to be seen if Alex Neil and Preston return with an improved offer.

The belief is however, they won’t come back again.
