Lewis Mcleod has been ruled out of tomorrow’s game against Brechin after suffering small calf and knee issues in the games against Stenhousemuir and East Fife.

Despite playing in the games against Forfar and Arbroath, he hasn’t trained the last few days as the issues have caused him more problems recently.

That said, manager Ally McCoist has ruled him out mainly as a precautionary measure, rather than it indicating that it’s a serious problem.

Nicky Clark remains in a protective boot at the moment following his foot fracture against Airdrie four weeks ago, and Ross Perry, Chris Hegarty and Kyle Hutton remain as our other long term problems – but it’s said each of them are continuing to make good progress.

Ian Black and Arnold Peralta are also both now back in contention following their suspensions.

However on that score, Lee McCulloch and Bilel Mohsni are both one card off a ban themselves and if either player picks up a yellow in the Brechin encounter, they will miss to trip to Ayr on February 15th.
