According to the Daily Record, Rangers could see former manager Pedro Caixinha try and coax Alfredo Morelos into joining him at Cruz Azul this summer.
The Portuguese boss came into Ibrox and made some interesting signings but it seemed to quickly unravel and in the end he had to go.
He has enjoyed some decent success at the Mexican side, though, and so that might be what he looks to use to try and use as a bargaining chip to attract the forward.
The South American has had a good time at Rangers so far – despite the obvious discipline issues – and he would be a big loss if he left our club.
Personally, I can’t see him moving to Mexico as, with all due respect, it’s not a big European club and that is where the best want to be.
It’s still a concern, but Rangers probably shouldn’t be too fussed as this latest rumour comes along about our star striker.
