Rangers earned themselves a decent win over Progres earlier in the week in the Europa League qualifying round but certainly could have done more.
Indeed, it was 2-0 and could have easily been double or even triple that but we are going to have to move on and then try and get the job done in the second leg.
With that said, though, it was still a good week for Scotland as a whole in Europe and the coefficient rankings have improved for the nation thanks to wins across the board for clubs on the continent:

Keep this up, then, and it should provide a European boost for us as, in the long term, Scotland will have better international groups and Rangers might have to go through fewer qualifying rounds.
It’s early days, though, and so we can only hope that the Gers go far and keep helping to improve things.
