Rangers are looking far and wide, it seems, to try and bring in new players this summer and there are plenty of names being linked.

Steven Gerrard has already shown during his time at the club that he is not afraid to shake the squad up where he sees fit and it looks as though there is plenty more on the way.

George Edmundson remains of interest with the Gers seeing a bid rejected for him earlier this week according to the Daily Mail, but the chase for him might have got that little bit easier.

Indeed, a fan got in touch with Peterborough United owner Darragh MacAnthony to ask whether Posh were interested in the full-back, and this was the response:

This helps clear the way somewhat for Rangers to try and get the deal done if they are still interested, then, though there are bound to be other parties interested in him too.
